5th August 2011 – James is appearing at IvyLive as part of the BBC Radio Devon show on Saturday 10th September of the festival, click here for more information on the festival. On another note James has been working really hard in the studio and recording is finished, just working on getting the first single ready to release, watch this space.
5th June 2011 – James is back on BBC Radio Devon, the BBC Introducing team have got James back to hit some live acoustic songs & discuss the new album & upcoming year, catch James live on the air on 3rd August 2011 from 7pm. The new album is into the final stages of recording now, then ready for mixing & mastering. We look forward to some sneak previews.
29th April 2011 – Work on the new album is going really well – 10 new tracks, 10 new sounds – progress is strong. James is keen to get it done to share with everyone. Promoters are starting to get involved to fill the diary with some more live dates as well once the recording time settles down so although things are a little slow – it’s still moving!

15th March 2011 – Following the success of the Billy Bragg support slot James has been busy back in the studio starting work on his new album & the early work is looking promising. 15th February 2011 - The Billy Bragg support gig was a huge success, a good performance by James & the band has definitely won some new fans. Thanks again to everyone who showed their support & came to watch & listen. Back to the rehearsal room now as they prepare for some more live dates that are in the pipeline & some prep for the new album.
3rd February 2011 - Billy Bragg support update, Tickets £10 from Bridport Music Tel 01308 425707, Doors 7pm, James & the band will be on from 8pm, Saturday 12th February 2011 Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, Burton Bradstock, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 4PT. Make sure you make it, it’s guaranteed to be a great night of music.
15th January 2011 - so it begins & what a start – supporting Billy Bragg in Bridport Dorset for a charity event on 12th February. Click here for more details. With some other stuff in the pipeline & a video in production there’s some momentum starting to generate. 5th January 2011 - James Lusby is now on Spotify, just search for ‘James Lusby’ and up he should pop. Rehearsals are well under way now and live shows are being arranged as we speak. Keep an eye on the website as we’ll start to get an interesting calendar lining up soon. Here’s to an exciting 2011 and wishing everyone a great year to.
4th November 2010 - No live dates yet, but rest assured, we’re in the rehearsal room as we speak, brand new band, oh yes… keep an eye out for the live dates next year. Also keep an eye out for links to youtube as the first music video is on its way. The team are working hard to make 2011 a productive year so make sure you keep up to date.
8th October 2010 - James is playing live on Friday 8th @ Beach & Barnicott in Bridport Dorset – DT6 3NQ – music starts from 8pm onwards. James is hitting an acoustic set with fellow band mate Steve Down who will be accompanying on guitar - a relaxed & chilled evening should follow. Updates soon to follow on the progression of the new band, things are looking good though.

The new band is in the rehearsal room and it’s going well. Hopefully a few more months of polishing and we’ll be ready to start live performances early 2011 so keep an eye out for updates.
26th July 2010 - James to appear on BBC Radio Devon on 11th August 2010 with DJ Kev Hutchings, with some live acoustic versions from the debut album Pelican Hill, Fantasy World & Fear of Loneliness will grace the listeners ears, if you miss the show you can catch it on the iPlayer for a week – then it’s gone – forever, I’m sure we’ll do another one though.
